With Bandisoft’s application Bandicut you can trim videos or cut out parts of a video. Say you have a 15 minutes long video but you want to cut out a 3 minutes long part right at the beginning. Load this video into Bandicut, pick the part you want to cut out, then save it to the location of your choosing. It’s all incredibly simple to do!

Installing Bandicut is a standard and quite simple procedure that will not take much of your time. It must be mentioned here that you can install Bandicut on a PC powered by a 32-bit or a 64-bit Windows edition. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 are supported.

The application’s interface is just what you would expect from an application of this type. Load a video and it will be presented on the main panel of the interface. Below this main panel there’s a panel that allows you to select the section you want to cut out. Down in the lower right hand corner there’s a large Start button that allows you to process the video once you’re done picking the part you want to cut out.

Instructions on how to use Bandicut are very clearly presented on the application’s interface. Using Bandicut is, as a matter of fact, a very simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – load a video.
Step 2 – select the part you want to cut out. You can do so using the slider, by marking segment start and end time, or by manually entering the time for the segment start and end time.
Step 3 – click the Start button and let Bandicut do its job. You can choose to exit the application or shut down the PC once Bandicut is done.

Bandicut is not free, it is only free to try. The trial will display registration reminders, will place a watermark on the output, and will not allow you to access high-speed mode.

By using Bandicut, in three simple steps, you can cut out part of a video or trim a video.

Pros

Bandicut works with 32 and 64-bit Windows editions, anything from Windows XP to Windows 8. Bandicut has a user friendly interface. Instructions on how to use Bandicut are clearly presented on the interface. Use Bandicut to trim a video or to cut out part of a video.

Cons

Trial limitations: nag screen, watermark on output, high-speed mode is disabled.
